What a Ride

I WAS LOOKING OUT OF THE WINDOW AND WONDERING WHAT THE TIME WAS BECAUSE I FELT QUITE TIRED AND IT LOOKED LIKE THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY. SO I DECIDED TO ASK WHAT THE TIME WAS. SUDDENLY MUM TOLD ME IT WAS 7PM BUT HERE IT WAS 2PM.

A few hours later and it seemed like forever we arrived in Singapore. I asked Mum what the time was and only after nagging her for ages did she tell me. When we had gone into the Singapore airport a long way Mum and Dad decided to buy us a drink. It was raining and believe it or not it was still 27 degrees. Next plane ride we were so tired that we drifted off to sleep in seconds. Luckily we woke up just on time to get off the plane. Believe it or not it is already 3.30am in NZ in the morning. We were dieing to get into a bed but we had to help Dad with the bags as Mum was running around chasing Holly. Once we had gotten our bags we were off on our way to our Pineapple Guesthouse.

Today we have been walking around and trying out new food. We went to the beach while it was raining but it didn't matter because it is so hot around here. After the beach we were off to the pizza place. It was pretty cool as we got to eat pizzas which were actually made out of real dough. Once we had finished the scrumptious lunch Dad decided to go on the slow truck bus. But it was no point, it took us way off track and we didn't even know where we were staying. So after that we had to manoeuvre our way back to the Guesthouse and now I am sitting down writing the blog.

  1. great writing Sophia! I love that word 'manoeuvre' - very clever. Fancy staying at a place called the Pineapple guesthouse! Have you eaten some?! Hannah R
